His professional background provides outstanding credentials and his commitment to the early childhood sector is demonstrated by his service to this industry through various positions and appointments.

David Greenwood - Senior Vice President

David Greenwood is the general manager of River 94.9FM. He has more than 40 years' experience in broadcasting and related industries, including advertising and international marketing. He spent six years overseas, marketing international tertiary education. After commencing his broadcasting career at local radio station4IP as an on-air presenter, he took on general management position at 4GR Toowoomba, 4BK Brisbane, 2UE Sydney, 2DAY FM Sydney and Brisbane's Channel O

Martin Sammut - Junior Vice President

Martin Sammut is a partner in the Ipswich Accounting Practice Sammut Bulow. Upon completion of his studies including Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Economics and Certified Practicing Accountants Qualifications, Martin commenced his own practice in July 1998. The practice now has in excess of 2000 clients and employs 12 staff. Martin is a past winner of the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce Young Business Person of the Year Award and University of Queensland's Young Alumnus of the Year. Martin's other commercial interests includes property development in the Ipswich area.

Brett Kitching - Treasurer

Brett is the General Manager of the Ipswich Turf Club. Brett is a fourth generation Ipswich resident who graduated from James Cook University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree having majored in Accounting. Brett was awarded CPA status in 1990 and has held this since. While Brett has been employed predominantly in Commercial Financial Management roles with organisations including CSR, Bartter Steggles, and Mack Trucks

Flo Kearney

Flo Kearney is in her third year as Principal of Ipswich Girls' Grammar School. Prior to her appointment, she spent seven years as Head of Senior School (Years 8-12) at Clayfield College in Brisbane. During that time, Flo was granted special leave in 2002 to take up the position of Relieving Principal at Rockhampton Girls' Grammar School for three terms. Before taking up her position at Clayfield College, Flo had held various senior leadership positions within Education Queensland including Deputy Principal at Alexandra Hills State High School for six years and State Manager for the Business Education Centres Project, based at Head Office for three years. Flo is also Chair of the Board of Wesley Mission Brisbane, and chairs the Business and Commerce Syllabus Advisory Committee of the Queensland Studies Authority, as well as being a member of the Principals’ Committee for the appointment of District Review Panel Chairs and panellists for Brisbane West. Flo has recently been appointed as a member of the Board of the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce. She has been included in the publications of Who’s Who in Queensland, Who's Who in Australia and Who’s Who of Australian Women

 

 Belinda Hermann

Belinda Hermann is the General Manager of the first private recruitment agency and training organization to establish in Ipswich. Top Office Personnel Pty Ltd (incorporating Recruitment@ Top and Skills@ Top) is a 100% Queensland Owned family business that opened in 1989 and has continually diversified and grown to meet the changing needs of business. With offices located in Ipswich and Brisbane, Belinda joined the organization in 1993 and is responsible for both the recruitment and training divisions, with successful Preferred Supplier Arrangements in place with both Queensland Government and private industry

Professor Alan Rix

Professor Alan Rix is the Pro-Vice-Chancellor managing the Ipswich Campus of the University of Queensland. Prior to this role he was Executive Dean of the Faculty of Arts and also managed the University’s external relations. He is actively involved in the education industry in Ipswich and Brisbane, and serves on a number of not-for-profit boards in both cities in the education, arts and heritage areas

Michael List

Michael List manages the Business Banking Centre for the Bendigo Bank in Ipswich. Growing up in Ipswich, Michael is committed to being involved in the local community and promoting Ipswich at every opportunity. He is keen to see local business owners network through Chamber events and increase the profile and success of their businesses

 Michael Munt  

Michael Munt Managing Director of BIZTOPIA over the past eleven years has grown the business from a one man operation into a company that offers cutting edge information technology services. 

Michael also won the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce Young Business Person of the Year award in 2007.
