The Ipswich Chamber of Commerce & Industry offers a spectacular calendar of events and 2008 will be no different. The chamber goes out to delight guests and provide sponsors with some of the best marketing opportunities in Ipswich. Our functions are held at key locations in the region and are built around a topical theme, featuring guest speakers who are recognised experts in their field. Our functions have developed an enviable reputation for quality, topical relevance, and positive networking opportunities and consistently attract a wide variety of senior business people. Chamber Breakfast This flagship event is and has been the benchmark for networking functions in Ipswich for over many years. The combination of time to mingle and later being seated at a table with other business people in a relaxed atmosphere encourages professional networking and social interaction amongst the 100+ strong business minded audience. Chamber Luncheons As with the Chamber Breakfast’s the Chamber Luncheons, provide the combination to mingle with the 150+ members and their guests, and later be seated at a table with other business people in a relaxed extended lunch style nature, whilst enjoying the Guest Speaker’s knowledge and wealth of information being passed across. All functions give the audience the option to ask relevant questions of the guest speaker. Networking After 5
The Chamber has introduced "Networking After 5" to our events calendar of events from July 2008. This is a bi monthly FINANCIAL MEMBERS ONLY function. This is an excellent opportunity to do business 2 business networking, socialise or just wind down after a busy working week amongst friends. Complimentary drinks and canapes will be served. Networking After 5 functions are Free for Chamber Members.

Elizabeth Nosworthy AO - Secruing our region's Water
Elizabeth will outline the Commission's plan to meet the water needs of South East Queensland in the face of massive population growth and climate change. She will highlight how the current reforms in the water industry will deliver a new level of water security for our region and also report on the commission's "Water at Work" program.
Jamie Quinn - What's in it for Ipswich Business
Jamie will combine an intimate knowledge of Ipswich with his current work as a Water Commissioner, to deliver some insights on how Ipswich Businesses can prepare for, and benefit from, the changes to our water industry.
Mayor Paul Pisasale will also address the Chamber Members and Guests on Water in Ipswich.
