At the AGM last night, the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce & Industry membership voted for their preferred nominees to represent their interests for the 2012 calendar year.
Independent scrutineers ensured that the voting was impartial and that proceedings were followed to the letter by the Incorporated Associations Act and as per the Ipswich Chamber’s constitution.
Those elected to the Chamber’s Management Committee and Board are:
President: Brett Kitching
Senior Vice President: Andrew Spark
Junior Vice President: Naomi George
Treasurer/Secretary: Matthew Allison
Immediate Past President: Michael Munt
Board Members: Tony Axford, Greg Forster, Lisa Jarrold, Alison McGrath, Janine Spencer-Burford
“This year we saw the most ever nominations for our Board which reflects the interest in and strength of the Chamber by our members who want to become more actively involved.” reported Amy McDowell, Executive Officer.
