As we move in to the festive season and we finish off the last of the Christmas shopping we would like to remind our members to “Shop Ipswich” and also to utilise the Chamber “Member to Member” specials.

An initiative of the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ipswich Business Enterprise Centre and Ipswich City Council in partnership with The QT and River 949 “Shop Ipswich” is about revitalising our local business community.

Without customers, business can’t get back on its feet. Shop Ipswich is essentially a free marketing campaign for all businesses in the Ipswich Region to be a part of, regardless of whether they were directly flood affected or not. Shop Ipswich is designed as a consumer and business confidence building campaign to run for at least twelve months, over three stages to increase consumer awareness and customer traffic. Shop Ipswich highlights how buying local can have a powerful and immediate impact on business recovery.

Another benefit of Chamber Membership is the Chamber Membership cards which entitles you to access the many discounts and specials offered by Members of the Ipswich Chamber to other Members, simply by producing this card at participating members’ businesses. 

You will find these specials listed on the Member’s page of the Chamber website:  www.ipswichchamber.org.au/members.  If you click on a membership category, the businesses under that category will appear on the right hand side of your screen, and underneath the links to their websites, you will find a link called “Member Special” which will open up a document detailing the benefit offered exclusively to Members of the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
